Helena Foulkes, president of CVS Health's pharmacy division, was named CEO of Hudson's Bay Company on Monday. Hudson's Bay, which owns Saks Fifth Avenue and Lord & Taylor, is seeking ways to transform its struggling department store operations as well as to boost its digital strategy. "We have a great opportunity to run our businesses more profitably, and Helena is the perfect person to help us accomplish that," said Richard Baker, executive chairman of Hudson's Bay. Foulkes ran CVS Health's network of nearly 10,000 stores and is credited with building the company's online prescription refill business. She is leaving the company as CVS seeks to close its $69 billion acquisition of Aetna.
